Howard
President
Howard is the President and strategic leader of TLG. With a deep background in education and technology, he drives the company’s vision and growth. His leadership ensures that every solution TLG delivers is aligned with client goals, industry trends, and the highest standards of quality.
He has held positions on the Board of Governors of the University of Manitoba, was a Council Member on Manitoba’s Council on Post-Secondary Education, along with other Boards and leadership roles.
Howard has spent decades as a volunteer and leader in animal welfare including many years as a volunteer and on the Board of the Winnipeg Humane Society.
Terry
Manager of E-learning Development
Terry leads the e-learning development team with a focus on innovation, engagement, and instructional quality. He ensures each training program meets client goals and exceeds learner expectations.
Prior to TLG Terry worked as an Instructional Designer and Manager in the agricultural and retail sectors. He has been giving back to the community for many years including being an actively fundraiser for Movember and volunteering with at-risk youth.
Salena
Partner/Indigenous Content Advisor and Facilitator
Salena is the owner of Community of Big Hearts and a globally-recognized advocate for truth and reconciliation, bridging communities and championing diversity. Salena works with the TLG development team as a Subject Matter Expert.
Salena regularly presents to organizations sharing her lived experience in the Foster Care System and insights into the progress of Reconciliation. In 2025 she was invited to share her perspective at the United Nations Commission on Population and Development as Canada’s Delegate.
Taryn
Instructional Designer
Taryn transforms complex subject matter into clear, engaging digital content. Her instructional strategies help learners connect deeply with the material and retain knowledge effectively.
Prior to TLG, Taryn worked with various online publications, managing creative talent and writers.
Laura
Instructional Designer
Laura designs intuitive learning experiences tailored to adult learners. She specializes in scenario-based learning and content accessibility for all users.
Prior to TLG, Laura worked in Chile as an editor, translator, teacher and executive coach.
Emma
Instructional Designer
Emma combines her background in graphic design with her expertise in instructional design to create engaging, visually impactful learning experiences. With an eye for detail and a passion for design, she ensures that every course is not only instructionally sound but also visually compelling.
Tarlles
Web Developer / Technical Lead
Tarlles ensures the TLG site and custom systems perform smoothly across all platforms. He brings technical precision to the user experience across web and LMS environments.
Tarlles also works to build new software applications for TLG, utlilizing AI to speed up development.
Jaspreet
Technical Developer / LMS Specialist
Jaspreet supports the backend of learning systems, managing LMS configurations and integrations. She ensures smooth delivery and reporting across platforms.
Jaspreet works closely with clients to also develop new LMS installations, along with supporting current ones.
