Learning Solutions For Industry

Detailed 3D Modelling and Animations

TLG consulted on a strategy for commercializing off-the-shelf e-learning products based on LearningSI's traditional classroom courses for heavy industry, and then designed and started to develop this suite of e-learning products.

The client's course catalogue represents hundreds of classroom hours of training for heavy industry such as pulp and paper and oil and gas. TLG is turning this training into easily accessible SCORM-compliant e-learning modules.

Emergency Nursing

Online Defibrillation Simulation

Emergency Nursing is a training simulation game developed for ward and clinical nurses cross-training in emergency nursing. The simulation is one component of a comprehensive self-directed learning supplement to formal classroom-based training.

In the game, learners are presented with a patient experiencing a medical emergency. Their main objective is to determine and perform the emergency procedure required to save the patient. Learners must perform complex tasks such as analyzing the patient's condition, determining and performing appropriate procedures and assessing results. The patient's condition improves or deteriorates according to the learners' decisions and performance.

At the Office

TLG Product

At the Office is a adaptive, scenario based game that teaches soft skills in the workplace. Learners assume the role of a team member, make decisions, problem solve and see how their decisions influence the story's outcome. The conditions of the scenario adapt—characters join or leave the team, new challenges arise, and outcomes are achieved—according to learners' actions.

Designed using TLG's Tell Me, Show Me, Let Me Try instructional approach, learners have the option to pull instructional material, watch skill demonstrations and practice tasks along the way. Learners get feedback to help to reinforce key concepts and help learners adjust their decisions if desired.
